I have no idea if this is the right thing or not, but this seemed to fix the problem for me, I went into SQL Enterprise manager and looked up the EventQueue table.  I found the offending entries and just deleted them.  This fixed the problem for me.  I don't know if this will create additional problems, but it hasn't so far.  I created a backup of the old table so I could restore it if I ran into a problem.

Deleting or setting the the isComplete flag to true on the entries in the EventQueue is a good work-around.

The media module has had this problem for over six months.  It tries to upgrade itself from a previous version of the Image module, but there isn't an image module on a brand new install.

I have same problem with a fresh install of DotNetNuke 4.5.3 source. Media module installed. However i receve Event Queue errors.

I tried to open EventQueue.config file in /Portals/default/EventQueue/ but Visual Studio displays weird characters. Something is wrong. Is there any way to fix it without touchind database tables?

I can see this discussion took place one year ago. I installed my portal 3 month ago and still have the same problem. Is there any fix on the way?

Thanks
