HI,

Yes you can.  The GetFile() method in FileController allows you to create a file object from a file name. portalid, and variations of FolderPath/Id.  When you obtain your file object, you can then use the fileid to create your FileID=x value.

Is there a way to change the root folder that the folder dropdown list gets populated from?  Instead of the portal root folder I wanted only to display folders in a different subfolder

Hello!

Has anyone come across a solution for the scenario Greg Hiszczynskyj is proposing above? Everytime anyone asks this question the replies go very quiet...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
