HELP! I'm supposed to be giving some users some training tomorrow...I'm using 3.2.2 and I was able to create subfolders when logged on as an Admin or Host, then I ticked to allow a group of users permissions to view and write to folders NOW though when these users logon they dont see anything except the root folder and when I logon as either Admin or Host I can get to the File Manager, but also can't see any subfolders and when I try to create a new one I get the following error in the log file (below). I've search for hours in the forums already to see if anyone has a solution, but can't find anything that has worked...I've synchronised, cleared cache etc.

PLEASE HELP????!!!

don't mix up file manager in host area with file manager in admin menu: host FM handles files in _default portal directory, that is not accessible to non-host users.

Yep that makes sense, however now when I logon as Admin and go to the file manager it still throws me the same error when I try to create any new subfolders.

When I logon as Host, it also does the same thing.

Any other ideas???
Cheers

Kelly

Well I think I'm getting a little bit closer...I just purchased and installed TKFileManager 1.1 to the site and if I add a new File Manager module using this File Manager,  I'm now able to add folders without getting the above error and I can see them if I logon as the appropriate user and go to say upload a document, however in File Manager I can't see the folder list  at all whether I'm logged on as Host or Admin.
So I can create them, but now cant get to them again to delete them or see what's in them if need be.

They're definitely there though, just not visible to Admin or Host.

This is so strange, I have another DNN site (also 3.2.2) and I've never had this kind of trouble.

If anyone out there might have ANY ideas about how I could display these subfolders in filemanager I'd really appreciate hearing from someone????

Cheers
Kelly
