Antonio,

Did you use anonymous (BCC) or personalized (TO) send method? the first does not work in most constellations.

Did you use sync or async send method

Can you try to send to a small usergroup  (administrators) to test?

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

I sent unpersonalized (BCC). Why would this not work though?

Sending to administrators does work, even in BCC mode.

As I experienced, the server did not accept the address used for anonymous newsletters. This might be specific to the smtp server

Ok, I tested with a small group with ALL permutations. In this group I had 3 users.

  • BCC - Sync
    • RESULT: Got 3 emails
  • BCC - Async
    • RESULT: Got 3 emails
  • Peronalized - Sync
    • RESULT: Got 2 emails
  • Personalized - Async
    • RESULT: Got 2 emails

In this case, I am getting emails, BUT, the number of emails is inconsistent.
There is something weird going on, but I cannot tell what it is unless I start debugging it.

are you sure, you didn't 3 messages on each async, due to additional confirmation mail?
