I use the events module extensively in my site - great job Alan... I have 20-30 instances of events in one portal and have been trying to diagnose a random logout issue. I have narrowed it down (I think) to cookies. If I navigate to 7 pages in a row that have the events module on it, I get logged out - without fail. 

I put a httptrace on and it appears that the events module is creating a lot of cookies. Not sure if this is the problem but it makes sense that the threshold of cookie size and/or number of cookies is being exceeded which would explain the random nature of the logout which happens to all users including admin and host.

thoughts - anyone else having this issue?

additional info

running dnn 441 and the one back version of events (not latest). Hosted environment. nothing in the dnn log files to indicate a problem.

i just tried on firefox and it does not happen!!!! I had not tried on firefox before so this is a surprise... do you have events on all 5 pages?

So if it is browser specific, i wonder what IE is doing

Ok...if this is a true statement...try logging onto my site (www.avanced.net) and running through the test/demo calendars.  It will not log you off!  I would suspect there is some other issue.
