Leupold, I have also tried to delete the cookies now. Same result. I have triad to start over with the upgrade to 4.5.3 two more times now, but same result.

I have now moved the site and database to my Win XP PC to troubleshoot. The upgrade give the same result - the site does not load after upgrade.

Leupold, the Stored Procedure is there and looks like:

CREATE PROCEDURE dbo.dnn_GetEventMessages
   
    @EventName nvarchar(100)

AS
    SELECT *
    FROM dbo.dnn_EventQueue
    WHERE EventName = @EventName
        AND IsComplete = 0
    ORDER BY SentDate

GO

 The log files is empty, and have been for several releases now.

I saw this forum tread: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/89/threadid/139128/scope/posts/Default.aspx. Could it be related to my problem?

Has there been any change to the code for resolving portal aliases in the releases after 4.4.1?

This is now a critical issue for us to resolve, hope you or someone else have some more input?
