I have just been playing with a demo portal at demo.dotnetnuke.com, and was wondering if it's possible to apply a filter to the user defined table.  For instance, i would like to add a field called Category, and allow the user to choose a category from say a pull down list and have the table filtered.

Another use of this feature would be to apply paging against the first letter of the sort field, rather than against a number of items.  E.g. the user select a letter A through Z, and all rows with the sort field starting with this letter are displayed.

Is any of this possible?  Thanks, Stephen.

UDT.3.4.0 is going to cover filtering. Your special needs will not be build in, but can be adressed using XSLT and dynamic parameters (also part of UDT3.4.0)
