Hi, all,  I met a problem when I add the forum modual of DNN4.5.3 with the host account.

Everything is with default setting.  New website with templete of DNN4.5.3.   "Auto" option in installing page.  SQL express and Visual Studio 2005.

Anyone met this problem before?

 

4 errors messages,

Error    1    Error parsing attribute 'enableEventValidation': Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.Modules.Gallery, Version=3.0.11.3077, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.    C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\acnwClub\DesktopModules\Forum\Integration\Integration_GalleryAddFiles.aspx    1

Greetings... I am going to move this thread to the Forums Project forum, where Chris will probably help you quickly.  By the look of the error messages, I would say that there are some features enabled which rely on the Gallery module (e.g. avatars & smileys, etc)?  What version of the forum module & DNN are you running?

I am a new user of DNN. I only download the DNN 4.5.3  from this site:

 

DotNetNuke 4.5.3 Starter Kit Shaun Walker Starter Kit 5/31/2007 Unknown Download

The build process is ok with the default setting and adding other modues.  The errors only appear after adding the forum module .

I wish he would show up, this module is buggy.  I am constantly getting "object is not set to a reference" errors.  Default install from yesterday with the forum module enabled.  None of these problems with other modules so far.
