Is it possible to create a module that will dynamically create a page with a pre-defined set of modules that are configured with a few view and edit parameters?

Is there a guide out there on how to do this?

If you look at the way a new page is create in DNN you'll see a place where you can select a "Template" for the page. This template can do what you need. Take a look at this and then it's just a matter of copying that code and making a new module out of it ;)

FYI, there're a few docs in the base documentation download that descrive how templates are built.

The templates can be found in you local installation in the path \Portals\_default\Templates
