The Release Tracker Module that the core team uses to test and validate project releases is now publicly viewable. You can use this module to keep track of upcoming project releases.

I've written a blog with more details on the tracker module and how to view the data for a particular release.

Congratulations Steve. I know you put a lot of effort into making this available for the project and it is much appreciated.

Thanks John!  It's always nice when something you've been working on, no matter how big or small, free or commercial, is finally released and you're able to share it with others.

Not sure where to post this since there is no forum for this yet...

Is there any kind of ETA on when this would be available as a stand-alone module.  This would be great as a module.

Until then, maybe something already exists as a free module to perform a basic status changing module.

We have an Operational Data Store in our reporting environment that users are requesting changes to.  We have DNN as a front end portal to our core team and provide information to our users.  We have a internal section we use for tracking information.  Currently we use the text/html module to create an html table that contains a list of changes that we need to make to the site, while this works, it really is not that efficient.

Something that we could use to enter changes to the ODS and provide a status to them, if numeric 1- X, or string, started, working, completed, etc...
Besides the status, a description of the change and a link to a document that we can upload to the file manager as a reference possibly.  Does something like this exist as a free module?

Also currently we are running DNN 3.3.7, and I figure the new tracker would be .NET 2.0 only.  We are planning on going to DNN 4.5.0 soon, we tried 4.5.2 without success due to the active directory login issues so I have stuck with 3.3.7 until I can get a working 4.5 setup.

Thanks,
Nathan
