Hi all,

I want to use two different connection strings; the default one and one more. I have added the second connection string to web.config file. Then I have inserted a new line in data providers section (with the new connection string, but the same provider), but the default data provider is still the provider from DNN.

<

data defaultProvider="SqlDataProvider">providers>clear/>add name="SqlDataProvider" type="DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke.SqlDataProvider" connectionStringName="SiteSqlServer" upgradeConnectionString="" providerPath="~\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\" objectQualifier="" databaseOwner="dbo"/>add name="StpDataProvider" type="DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke.SqlDataProvider" connectionStrongName="StpPortalsConnectionStrong" upgradeConnectionString="" providePath="~\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\" objectQualifies="" dataoaseOwner="dbo"/>providers>data>

I want to use the default provider, but sometimes, I will use the other provider. When I use

DotNetNuke.Data.

SqlDataProvider.Instance()

then it will use only the defaul provider. How can I use the second provider? When I look in the providers collection at runtime, there are two, but the default one is used every time.

Thanks for help...
