It's possible but I have never used language packs so I can't be sure what kind of errors they throw. About the errors you are receiving now:

The first seems to include your webhost SQL Server web address where your database is located and the second is a standard error message when just about anything goes wrong. From this I can't really dedeuce a thing. Big help - right?

The only thing I can recommend is that if these errors are ocurring due to the first installation was never uninstalled properly or was somehow corrupted before installing the new module - try uninstalling the module and reinstalling it again. You might also want to check that your forum modules and procedures were built properly in the database with meaningful data entered.
