actually it turns out it's Waaay easier to simply install the 3.3.0 version via the module install wizard.

and make sure you change your web.config to use fckeditor rather than freetextbox as the default html editor.

Thanks, I'll explor that path. I'll need to find some documentation for that. I am not sure if my web.config is properly setup.

I took my old configuration for the <htmlEditor defaultProvider="Ftb3HtmlEditorProvider"> section and put it into my new web.config. Things seem to work better now. Where can I find detailed information to explain all the values in the web.config for that section? I would like to go oven the differences and find the problem.

After I upgraded all the other types of modules they also have other problems but I don't know what they are yet. I'll figure that out later.

default provider has been switched to FCKEditor, that uses completely different settings.

I've also encountered this issue both errors... Is there a way to ensure the user migration will work?
