I have been trying to install and load dotnetnuke for a week and a half. I reintalled, following the instruction for the "Starter Kit" this morning and am still getting the below error when thrying to start dotnetnuke from IE. Do I have one error or three?

Help! I didn't plan on installing dotnetnuke being a career move.

I had the same error while installing DNN 3.2.2. The reason for the error on for me(very silly) was I had WEB.CONFIG file renamed as web.config.config. I changed it back to Web.Config and it worked like a charm.

Hope this helps.

These are cascading errors - the top one is the one that matters, but it causes the other two.

Anyway, the error indicates that there is no connectionString.

I would suspect that you have not renamed release.config to web.config or do not have a valid connection String for your database.
