What's the roadmap look like? I've been waiting for about a year to get a stable, usable, core AD module before I integrate my intranet. Has anything noticable happened in the past few minor releases? Thanks

No official roadmap yet but I can tell you that the provider is being stripped out of the core and into it's own provider. The project didn't have a team lead for a long time and any changes to the code would have required a point release of the Core code so it has stagnated.

That said, the current code is stable and usable imho. I've been using it for a year on our internet/intranet site at work without any problems. What problems did you run into the last time you tried it?

Mike, thanks for the response.

I remember last time I tried it, I had to download somebody's custom DotNetNuke.dll file. Anytime there was an upgrade, you had to wait for the guy/gial to update the core dll. I also had problems with syncing passwords/profile properties and random lockouts. Plus entering the domain before the username was a pain and my users just aren't that savvy. My impression was to wait for AD integration to mature before rolling it into a production environment.

Anyways, stripping out of the core is a good first step. Once that happens I can start customizing it ...

BTW, do you know of anyway to segment the domain? I don't want to give everyone in the domain access, but a certain subsect. Any ideas?

Thanks again.
