Versioning Confusion

I am completely confused regarding the versions and release versions of the core forums project.

It is my understanding that 4.4.0 has been released, yet the only download that I can find access to is the current install that I have on the DNN version 4.5.3 of the core framework. In the module management of the host, the forum version says 03.20.09. I read references to going from the 3.2.X version to 4.4 and see 4.4.2 in unreleased beta.

So could someone help me out here in understanding the current version and where to get a DL of the install for the PA?

Forums module 4.4.0 has been submitted to the release tracking process, but this has not been completed atm, this is the reason, why the new version is not available for download yet.
