My Scenario:

I have safely installed a registration module.

Ater the module is configured, the next step is to set the module's page to be set as the "user page" (found in site settings>advanced settings)

I was able to complete this task and in host mode, I am able to see the registration module I recently configured.

But, When I log out and then click on register. The page shows, but the module does not show.

I double cheked all page and module options, but still no luck.

I even tried another page with another module and it disappeared when it was set to be used as the user page.

I even tried another one of my portals. But I still had no luck.

what am I missing here?  It seems to be security related, since I can see the module in host mode.

make sure, you granted view permission for page and module to all users (not only registered users!)

Hi Sebastian,

I verified the settings on the page where I have setup my registration module. I logged out and then clicked on "register". No module was visible.

When I selected the page from the menu, the module was visible!

I could only conclude that my issue has something to do with the user page settings in site settings.

The user page setting seems as if it's stuck in "registered user" mode which will not show unauthenticated users).

Is there some setting in DNN that could have an effect on how the "user page" setting displays the page and module?

James

As long as the module permissions are set correctly there should not be an issue.

You might try contacting the third party developer
