Hi,

I made the feedback / contact us page on our site ssl and now the captcha doesn't show. Is there a way to put the module into ssl and still have captcha?

Thanks,
Ari

This is the same problem in both IE and Firefox. Running DNN 4.5.5. The SSL cert is for our domain, not a shared cert. SSL is "enabled" and "enforced".

With respect to SSL support...

SSLRedirect is an excellent add-on for SSL securing DNN web pages.  SSLRedirect provides the flexibility of using Regular Expressions to define which web pages should be SSL secured.  SSLRedirect also provides an output filtering feature which assists in eliminating the mixed content message sometimes received when flowing from HTTP to HTTPS web pages.  SSLRedirect is the ONE SSL enabling component which works equally as well with native ASP.NET apps as with DNN apps.  SSLRedirect also works with single domain SSL Certificates or wildcard SSL Certificates.

Adoucette - can you please check whether you're having the same issue with Captcha for a regular SSL enabled page (ie for example turn on SSL for the Account Login and also enable the captcha feature).
I do not think you need to get a specific SSL module to resolve your captcha issue. This might be a core issue that needs to be fixed with regards to Captcha.

Thanks

I'm not sure how to add SSL to the login page - I don't see that page listed in the Pages list under the Admin menu. If you let me know how to do this, I can try applying SSL to it.

I do know that SSL works on all of the other pages, and it works on the contact page if I don't enable Captcha. Also, the contact page works with Captcha if there is no SSL on that page.

So, if you tell me how I can test this I'll try to do it for you.

Ari
