When hack enabled DSLocalizator made some modification in the Default.aspx file, because u upgrade the website the Default.aspx will get overided by the original Default.aspx. So after upgrade the website, make sure u enable the DSLocalizator hack again.

Yeah, of course that did the trick - the hack just wasn't installed. It was like complaining about the computer not running when you forgot to plug it in :-|
I'm sorry for the commotion. Thanks for your help,
felix

THAT WAS IT!

I've got about 10,000 people registering on my site in the next week or so and I was having trouble with tabs and modules being localized with the LocoPon DSLocalizator module (WHICH IS GREAT! EXCELLENT!). It turned out, as you say that the upgrade erased a modification DSLocalizator had made in the Default.ASPX.VB file.

The change was replacing the line

Inherits DotNetNuke.Framework.CDefault : Implements IClientAPICallbackEventHandler

with

Inherits Delisoft.DNN.PageBases.MyLocale : Implements IClientAPICallbackEventHandler

I is so happy!!

BTW Is there contract programming work out there for DNN coders?

Thanks again!
chris
