Based on some emails I have received of late there seems to be some confussion caused by the previous post of installing to a subdirectory and using a redirect script.  While helpful, it completely negates the whole point of this thread an my instructions which is to install to the root directory.  There should be no need for a redirect script and installing the the root directory of a shared hosting account works just fine.  I performed this with a 4.03 version recently and it worked just fine.

The only issue I found was that the virtual folders needed to be created after the website framework was uploaded to the root folder.  This is different from before where you could create the virtual folders ahead of time.

The most common problems people seem to be having are:

•  Incorrectly uploaded files, this can be caused by corruption in the transmission.  
• Missing web.config and/or site.url files
• Improperly configured connection strings.
