Recently I have updated two 4.41 sites to 4.55 - all went well.
I talked to vendors of key modules to see if they had advice on what to update first - their module or dnn.
Tonight I updated my main clients site but managed to forget that I had used the useful Aggregator  on the login page to hold advice notes.(separate pane to the login control)
I knew aggregator needed an update but now its failure on the login page has stopped the account login module from loading into its container.

AaargH !

I can restore the old site and that may well be the quickest method but does anyone have any ideas on how I might get past this ?

Salutory Point:
Check your modules for compatibilty before upgrading to a new version.

Wah!

Hi

To follow this up with a solution that worked !

I seached dnn for a bit and found a post pointing to one of John Mitchells blogs.
http://blogs.snapsis.com/PermaLink,guid,3078311e-6925-4c03-8243-d1b9c8a11906.aspx

John has this tiny file that provides a temp login page.

This page of Johns blog is already full with comments raising him to the status of demi-god for this big (common?) problem solver so I thought I would say something nice here.

John - We are bowing in your general direction.

Thank You

Phew
