If i configured DNN site to subfolder or say subportal (www.Example.com/DNN) and what if i want to make/move current site to root folder (www.Example.com) is it possible to do with all current data which is customized for my need like home page and all other pages added.

If not possible, how i can take full backup and move to root folder of my hosting ?

Thanks in advance for help

Yes you should be able to do this.  You will need to validate links on items manually entered just to be sure they are ok.  Such as images added in the text/HTML modules.

Basically the process is, first of all take a full backup.  (For directions look on my blog at http://www.mitchelsellers.com)

Then add a portal alias for the new location .  (Admin -> Site Settings when logged in as host)
Then copy all files from the folder to the root

Then you are done!
