After a pretty brutal upgrade of a large portal with lot's of custom code (and formerly a custom authentication provider) from 4.3.1 to 4.5.5 I noticed that password's for Active Directory accounts are stored in the DNN database.  My AD guys are going nuts about it... I thought that DNN put a random password in the database, but sure enough, user's can request their Active Directory passwords using the DNN password reminder.  Is there an easy way to disable this without duplicating and tweaking the 4.5.5 adsi authentication provider?  Thanks guys!

I'll have to double check exactly what I've done at work but I think all I did was set the visibility of the password reminder button in the login.ascx to false. Using a random password is something that I want to make sure the AD provider has but I need to verify that it won't affect using DNN. Will using a random password break a module somewhere down the line. I don't think it will but until I know for sure I can make the change.
