Hi, I have a strange problem with some user-id's on my portal.
Some users can log on, others receive the message A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Does anyone knows how to solve this?
Win2003 server - SQL2005 express

Kind regards,
Wim

there seem to be user data missing, please check the users' profiles. I suggest to upgrade to DotNetNuke 4.5.5, as there has been some enhancements in Membership and Profile Provider since version 4.3.7

The strange thing is that those users could log on until 2 days ago. Nothing changed on the portal in the meanwhile.
I would rather not upgrade the portal without doing some tests. (I plan a upgrade in november)

Does anyone has an idea how to solve this without upgrading?

Yep, App restarted, server restarted, still the same issue.
I'm preparing an upgrade now.. :-)

Can I expect issues?
