I am starting to build a business site I hope to grow the size of CNET.com one day. I was looking for your opinioins on my first build of this size. Is it a better idea to start with the source instilation or just standard.

Thanks,

Sean

source is desgned for developer environments only, it does not make sense to install it in productive environment.

I second the above.  This also applies to all modules, I would NOT install the source version of any module on my production site.

For modules like the Survey module, the only version is the source version. It does not present a security risk nor is there a difference in performance.
