By the way, when I say "DNN DAL" method, I am specifically referring to using the CBO class to automatically populate the object or the colleciton of objects.   Obviously, if you write a custom hydrator for your Get / Fetch methods, this will be dramtically faster.  SubSonic (and probably others) just takes care of this for you.

Also of note is the custom controls and useful code library that come with SubSonic that no one ever talks about.   The scaffold control is pretty sweet and so are the others in the package.

When Visual Studio 2008 comes out I will be exploring the use of LINQ .

I am another fan of using SubSonic with DNN.  When not developing a module for sale, this is clearly the way to go.

I am curious, why isn't subsonic suitable for use in modules for sale?
