Hi,

A little question, as I am slightly confused.

I have read the terms and conditions about using DotNetNuke and understand that if I use the DotNetNuke Portal for making money, e.g. commercial gain then I have to leave the copyright message intact.

Now does that mean in the source of the html files or at the bottom of the rendered page. Not wanting to point a finger or anything its just that I noticed that

http://www.dnndev.com/

and

http://www.onyaktech.com/

Do not do this, and you can buy modules online at these sites?

Regards

Julian

the copyright credit only needs to stay in the code files (e.g. the header at the top of the aspx.vb files and any other class files). You do not have to give any visual indication that a site is running dotnetnuke - in fact if you log in as host, you can go to host settings and uncheck the "show copyright credits" checkbox to clear the notice. The BSD licence we operate under is a commerical friendly licence - it does not differentiate between any site types, and there are no special rules for commerical sites.
