The old discussion forum has a bug. A registered user can edit any post! I like the tree thingy they have and the community moderation without the right to delete any thread.  Too bad DNN does not have this kind of forum.

Hi,

I can do it for you with the "property module".

You will be able to rate a post from 1 to 5 stars, submit  "comments" (replies) to a post, report of a spam post and email the poster of any post. Comments and rating will be done by implementing some java script into the template.

You will have "latest posts" and "most viewed". You will also have a page with a list of forums categories.

It will probably look much modern. :)

Let me know.... any way it is in my list of coming templates.

Thanks.

Here.  I've used it to set up a community here.  It's useful for very stodgy communities who don't like anything new.

Otherwise, try modifying the DNN forum threaded view - all it needs is a slightly greater indentation to give it that kind of a look.

I like your forum! Its very good. Can you please tell me if I can use your forum in DNN? Also, How do I modify the DNN forum threaded view? Where do I start? How do I make the threaded view the default view? Also, the major drawback with DNN forum is that it does not allow Anonymous posters. It also asks for email address etc.

Can you please help? Thank you.
