I have installed the latest dnn on win2003 server running in virtual pc.

On localhost (in virtual pc) dnn app works ok.

On the host OS (xp) I can't navigate to dnn on the virtual pc instance. I navigate to http://w2k3/dnn and the browser is immediately redirected to http://localhost/dnn which of course doesn't exist.

Other asp.net apps are working correctly in virtual pc when I navigate to http://w2k3/...  -- it must be something in dnn.

What to do to correct this?

I added the alias w2k3/dnn and I can now navigate to the site on the virtual pc. w2k3 is the name of the virtual computer. dnn is the name of the site.

I have no idea why this works.
