Interesting - the database version is 4.6, but the version of the DotNetNuke.dll in the bin is 4.5.1 still! I have no idea of telling what files copied across or not...

Just checked the /bin folder ;   the site's DotNetNuke.dll is the 4.6 Version.    We had used the upgrade installation.  Later we copied the bin folder from that Installation into the test site.  It works on the test Site!  So we copied the folder contains to the production site without any success.  The Account Login Module still fails to render.

Below is the event log from the production site...

Well, I had to roll back to 4.51 (and lose 2 days of data!) in the end as this stumped me. I will need to do some debugging in the next week and try to work ou twhat is wrong...

Made the move to 4.6.2 without success.. The Account Login continued to fail.

Started looking at schema changes between a good site and damaged database.  Noticed a few Version references were missing in the Version table (4.4.1; 4.5.0 through to 4.5.2)  Additionally, the old portal database was missing sql updates between 4.4 and 4.6. Using the script generator in SQL2005 to create a copy of the stored procedures from the 'good' site and ran it against the damaged portal's database.. It worked.. The Ye'Old portal is back...with a Account Login Module   The log file for those versions were there but without any error entries.
