Hi...is there a way of allowing one registered user to search through the profiles of other registered users? Seems like quite a basic function in a community environment. The 'visibility' option in the user profile seems to suggest that users can choose to make their profiles )(or parts of) available butI can't see how to implment a 'user search'.

Any pointers greatfully received...please excuse my ignorance if the answer is obvious!

If you want more flexibility with the profiling system you can also check out the Smart-Thinker modules (the User Directory is part of the UserProfile module) - you can see a real live example on PokerDIY with a directory of poker players...
