I test with the -1 value in cache but I have the same problem.

I can hide the Edit/View checkbox if in the site settings->Advanced Settings -->Usability Settings --> Control Panel Security I choose Page Editors the selector is not visible.

But that's not the problem, it always stays in view mode so the anonymous user cannot edit the module.

I'm have the same problem.

I wanted to allow anonymous or unauthenticated users to be able to add events throught the events module but no matter how I click on the edit radio button, it will post back and then move back the the view radio button. The add event link just doesnt appear.

Changing the cache settings of the events module doesn't help. Tried it in firefox and it was the same.

Anyone please help..

I have still no solution and that worked with 4.4.1 version.
