Hi Philip,

I would like to compile all of my categories and the tutorials under each one and be able to print them as 1 document as well. Could you tell me how to export as XML and then apply an XSL style sheet? The link you gave in this post is dead. I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Here's what we do.  Export your content as per normal, then create a new page with the XML/XSL module and use this XSL http://www.philipbeadle.net/DownloadsTips/tabid/264/Default.aspx "XSL for Help XML to HTML" you will need to register.  That will produce the Html from the Help module's XML.  Then click Print on the module to get just the HTML of the content, then copy to Word.

Pop-Up, Print-Friendly Version
Once your XSL is working as you like....

  1. On your new XML module page, employ a "blank skin" to hide everything except the XML module itself (hide the menu, header, footer, skinobjects, etc).
  2. Set the XML module to render output to HTML.
  3. Add a "Print-Friendly Version" link to the XML page for your users and set the link to open in a new window (target="_blank").
  4. Finally, edit the XML page's SETTINGS to de-select "Display in Menu" to hide the new page.

Now you have a pop-up, print-friendly version of the content that users can print directly from their browser window.
