Bill, only thing I can think of is you don't have all the localized lists in your portal instance. There is a thread here about Ratings where I discuss how to find out about this.

I am confused now.  I thought Localization was for multiple languages or Modifications to the default setup.  I have neither.  I found a ratings thread where the guy wanted to get rid of the new extra ratings and you gave him a SQL command to run....I don't understand.  I can't get into General Settings or Search.  They both crash.  Can you please elaborate.

Thanks
Bill

Localization is used regardless of you having more than one language installed. The SQL from that thread you need to run to see if you are getting any results for your forum.

The SQL statement that I found and ran is this:

SELECT * FROM {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}Lists WHERE ListName = 'ForumThreadRate'

I don't know if I am suppose to customize the part of the statement that I have made red or not.  I put the statement into the sql field and check run as script but nothing seemed to happen when I executed it.  Sorry for need for so much hand holding but I appreciate all the help.

Thanks,
Bill
