Hi there, this i smy first post. I am sorry if it has already been asked and answered before but i had looked through the forum and found nothing.

Have installed DNN 3.01 and the Gallery 3.00.11 and all seems ok except for the Pages. If i upload say 40 pictures into a gallery and have it set to view only 3*7 therefore 21 pics, i dont get the NEXT PAGE icon at the bottom so i can view the other 19 pics. I end up having to click on DESC to sort them the other way round and view from back to front. Please help?

Also sometimes the gallery lets me use the Slideshow and sometime itdoesnt and comes up with 'error on page' at the bottom of ie. Please help if possible.

My site is a basic personal website and i am failry new to all this - www.turnster.co.uk

Are you getting any error messages in your log file?

You should think about upgrading the DNN version to 3.2.2 as it's more stable.  Looking at your site it might be a skin problem.  I've looked at it with IE6 and Firefox and both show the container as extending below the bottom of the contents table section.  Have you tried to see what it looks like using one of the default skins?

Thanks very much for getting back to me so quickly. I have changed the skin back to the default and even changed it to a number of other types of skin but it deosn't seem to sort the issue. I still cant see the NEXT PAGE bit. The container still shows as extending below the bottom of the contents table section?

Any other thoughts or ideas please?

Also to upgrade to 3.2.2 do i just need to download the update and upload to my server?

Won't that overwrite all the work i have done so far?

No upgrading shouldn't change anything you have done so far.  It's one of the really nice things about DNN and most of the modules is that all the important bits are stored in the database.

Upgrading is just like you said just copy all of the new files over to your site and access it with IE and watch the upgrade messages.  I would save off your web.config file. and Siteurl.config if you have one. There are really good instruction in the install download for upgrading.

I do kind of remember there being a problem if you had more than a few folders or it could have been sub-folders. Look for messages in using the gallery (the next forum up) from a guy named iznogoud.  He had a bunch of surfing pictures that he was having a problem with related to having to many folders or something it's been a few months.  ;)

You don't get any errors in the log file or anything?  When I get a chance I'll try to get my development machine to act like yours .

Plleeeasse Help. I did exactly what you said and upgraded from 3013 to 322 but now i have it has given me a default site back and seems to have lost all the work i have done. I was hoping upgrading would do exactly that, but it seems to have overwritten everything and now i am left with a default site - www.turnster.co.uk

i was only trying to fix the gallery module and now i have ended up with s default site again. any ideas please as it took me ages to create it in the firstr place?

I downloaded the upgrade doc and follwed it to the letter, backing up web conifg and chaing the  machine validation and decryptioin keys etc. i changed the release config to web config and added all this info in. Argh!!!

Help much appreciated please.
