Hi

I' am using DDDDNN 4.5.5.
When somebody is registering on my site he must Get a mail with a verify code.
In the portals settings I have this option enabled.
When I do a test and register a "testperson" with an email address of my own, I get an mail with a verification code.
(So I thought this works OK)
After complaints of customers (they where waiting for the verification code) I did a check.
When somebody register the program does send an email to me as admin with the message there is a new user ...
The new user sees a message on the screen "There is send a mail with a verification code....
No mail is send to the new registered user.

Somebody knows an solution for this ?

make sure, the mail server allows sending to external email addresses.

The webhost is testing the email feature off dnn for a couple of days now.
They did not find so far a solution for the strange behavior of the relay of the emails.
In the mean time (I was testing too) I found something strange.
-The feedback module and the DNN program do not send the email to an external email address.
-The store module 02.01.00 I have installed, does send an email of an updated order to an external email address.
 
How is this possible?
Does the store module use an other way of sending email?
Is there anybody out there who wants to investigate this?
