Hi,

I would like to know how to make some of the fields in the Feedback modue
to 'required' field.

Thank you in advance,

Shiho

You would need to put required field validators in the feedback.ascx file. Have you done this before?

Hi Sanjay,

Thank you for your advice.
I never use required field validator...

I researched and found 'required field validator' from the toolbox .
(I'm using Visual Studio)

Though I set the validator, it is not working even if the required field is blank.

Here's a part of my code in feedback.ascx:

<

asp:textbox id="txtName" runat="server" cssclass="NormalTextBox" columns="40" maxlength="100" style="vertical-align: top" />
<asp:RequiredFieldValidator ID="RequiredFieldValidator1" runat="server" ControlToValidate="txtName" ErrorMessage="Required Field" />

Am I missing something???

I appreciate any advice on this.

Regards,

Shiho
