Hi,

I uploaded a background image for my website via "Site settings" under "Admin" tab. Now I want to style that background by using the portal.css style sheet editor. The problem is I can't find which style is being applied to display that background image. I tried styling the "body" element but failed. Does the background use a different method, not css?

I know I can easily style it by my own skin.css but this is not for me. It's for the users of a social networking site that I'm developing. The goal of this action is to let them edit their site's appearance more easily while not altering the default look of the skin.

Any help is much appreciated,

Duc

Sorry, but shouldnt you use skins for this purpose and then let the users change the skin when ever they want.  Make a skin, apply the background using the skins .css file and thats it

Hope this helps

Never mind, I've found out that it actually applies to the "body". Styling it will give the desired effects.

About your question, I limit the skins that users can use to 2 or 3 only. Each of them is fully customizable so that they can have completely different look.
