Hi Gilles,

I am trying to install the source code for the Store.  I have unzipped the files into the DesktopModules/Store folder.  I have extracted the .cs files from the dotnetnuke.store.resource file.  When I go to compile I seem to be missing the 2 Authorize.net .cs files.  Did I do something wrong in the download or unzip process?

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Unzip the source is definitivly NOT the right way to obtain a working solution! Please follow my guide (the first page in this post) to install the source version. You will save HOURS (and may be days!) because the Store module use the WAP mdel and it's a big VS solution with 21 projects. This is why you can't simply unzip cs files and start to use it. Your way (unzip) is common with WSP model, but this model is not accurate for big projects. You can read this article about WAP vs WSP at MSDN.

Hi Grilles,

Could you please send me a copy of Store_SkinObjects.zip for Store 2.01.09 to prutus at gmail.com?

Very much appreciate it. Why it is so difficult to check this project in to the source control?

Pavel.

Hi Pavel,

The SkinObjects are the same than 02.01.00, you can download the files in the Gemini repository.

I do not understand your question about the source control? Which source control product do you use? Do you mean "why it's difficult to install the source version"? If yes, it's because the Store module is not a simple module. It use the WAP model and the solution contains 21 projects. But if you follow my guidelines (look a the first page of this post), it took just 5mn to install.

Gilles
