This is really weird.  I've got several DNN sites up and running, one particular one has been up for over a year now.  I noticed on when I first installed that I did not have an event viewer.  The Admin>Event Viewer page is empty.  But, I was running on DNN v3.x and convinced myself that whenever I upgraded it would magically return.  I've never had problems with the site so it wasn't a big deal.

Well, I recently upgraded to DNN 4.7...and the event viewer still isn't there.  Wouldn't be a problem, except I purchased the EThuongmai Enterprise Forms module and am experiencing problems that tell me to "check the event viewer".  Well, I can't.

Does anyone know if I can install it separately?  It's sitting on a local web server here at the office, so it's easy for me to get in to make changes.  Is there a control that I need to install?  Where do I start?

Thanks.

the event viewer is part of the framework, but obviously the necessary entries are missing in your database, check the following tables for an appropriate entry: ModuleDefinitions, DesktopModules, Modules and TabModules.

Thanks - just to be clear - The menu option for the Event Viewer in the Admin does exist - but there is no module on that page.

I got into my SQL server and checked the tables.

ModuleDefinitions - There is an entry for "Log Viewer", but not one for "Event Viewer" (in any of the tables)

DesktopModules -  There is an entry for "Log Viewer"

Modules - There is an entry for "Log Viewer" - ModuleID 360, ModuleDefID 79.

TabModules - There is an entry for ModuleID 360, looks just like most of the other entries.  It does have an icon file associated with the entry - "icon_viewstats_32px.gif"

Any other ideas?

Thanks.
