Hi All,

Im trying to make install my DNN on my hosting provider but i cant.

Any1 of you, has done this before ? can give a hand with this !

my host provider has a wwwroot directory and i put the DNN files in that place, but an error shows up, aying the ASPNET user dont have the necessary rights to find some files, so, i spoke with my host provider and tell to give the ASPNET user the necessary rights, but they say, that others companies has DNN working in the same server without trouble !

they tell me to create a virtual directory using software heml (host admin tool), i did it and still not working !

Please help !

Thx in advance !!

It's probbaly worth going back to your provider again, and getting them to check that the account 'Network Service' (assuming you are on W2003) has full permissions to the directory structure you are installing DNN into. I've not used heml, but does that not give you the chance to see the perimissions on your directories?

Roger
