Hi,

I wrote a custom module in c# but in the module definition this new module is not getting installed. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

When you say "this new module is not getting installed." what do you mean? This tutorial:

Super-Simple Module (DAL+) (C# and VB)

describes the steps to create a module. To create a package to install in another DotNetNuke site follow these steps:

 
Enter a name that ends with .zip and click the Create link. Click the Create Manifest File? checkbox
The Private Assembly will be created.
You can retrieve the .zip file from the root directory of the portal.
