On three occassions in the last six weeks I have had links to files and images suddenly disappear. Friday  (with the help of Steve  at Corelli.org) I set up a catalook store and posted an image for a product. Everything looked good. I called the client and said check it out and the client called back to say 'check what out' - When I looked at the site the image did not appear. When I  looked at the module, the link to the file was no longer visible.  After I reset the link to the image it came back okay . This has happened to my links to files in the downloads module as well.  Several days after they were established and tested they inexplicably disappeared.

So - has anyone else had this problem and if so how can it be solved.

Thanks for the response -

I just looked at the setting and it was  not enabled - I enabled it with the defaults and set it to run on application start - is it necessary to specify the server name and if so where would I find  the server name ?

I've brought this issue up quite a few times. In fact I enabled the scheduled file sync a few moths ago specifically to try and stop this problem. That did help somewhat, but occasionaly something will still vanish.

Sebastian, this is shown from 14:50 onwards in that video I made and sent you a link for. It happened in addition to the vanishing logo issue, which was demonstrated in the first 2/3 of the video. Did you get to see it?

I was wondering if this issue has been registered in Gemini or if someone has come up with a possible solution.

I have found that links I'm nearly 100% sure were working correctly change so they now point to the Root folder and the first file in that folder

Also does anyone have a way of getting a listing of the broken links, my sql skills are limited but would like to be able to get a report of the broken links so at least i can repair them a bit quicker until a solution is found
