I have a few minutes to burn...

So about 3 years ago I started working for this small company, it had maybe 20 employee's and limited budget really for anything. I was hired on as an engineer, which is what I had been doing for nearly 20 yrs prior to coming here. Well they needed a "Trouble Ticketing" solution. I hadn't really programmed a whole lot and really knew nothing about web design but I was pretty handy with excel and knew a bit about VB. I found the ASPNet site and started playing with their ticketing starter kit and then their forums led me to DNN.

Well it's three years later, and now I do nothing but DNN. It has become my job. I've written a ticketing module both for internal and external use by customers. I've written several different contact management modules for employee's (we are up over 300 world wide) now. I have financial modules that track funding/invoicing. I'm starting on wharehouse modules that will be tracking shipping/recieving. At times it seems the entire company revolves around what really started out for me as just playing around.

Anyway just wanted to say thanks for an interesting career that basically picked me. I can't imagine anything more fullfilling than coming to work to a job where my imagination and creativity is the limiting factor of my own job satisfaction.
