Hello All,

I am the director of technology for a Public K-12 School Consortium and have been using DNN for a couple years now.  Our organiziation is comming to the realiziation that our IT support staff is spread a little too thin.  I of course recommend that we need to add staff but I have been tasked with comming up with a trouble ticket management system to allow us to analize our coverage and response time.  We are wanting  to be able to have users submit cases and then allow agents to update the cases and have e-mails t want to have another set of username and passwords to manage.  If there is a module for DNN that would solve all our problems.

Take a look at Sigma Pro and Enterprise Forms, these two should give you a foundation for adequate helpdesk system.

Thanks for the  reply!  I actually wound up finding SigmaPro on my own and we bought onyatech's entire line of modules.  I'm not really trying to plug them here but they have a good deal on their line right not calling it a holiday sale and you can get all modules and source code with upgrades for a year for 95 dollars.

A trouble ticket management software is a software that organizes and tracks down trouble tickets filed by customers or employees of a company. This software also manages the information and distributes it to the departments concerned that could troubleshoot the error. The trouble ticket management software of today uses emails and tickets as its media and connects with customers for customer database building.

Should you decide to purchase your trouble ticket management software or select a more affordable free alternative, there are specific points to keep in mind for it to be a success on your network:

- Fully consider the benefits of each product within the needs of your company.
- Determine how long you desire to use the software you choose.
- How easy is it to understand the documentation provided with your selection?
- What type of support is provided with your help desk software?
