Another side effect of this problem: If the user is logged off automatically and then tries to pull down the module options menu via AJAX, it will just hang.  The user must  first reload the page to process the auth and then try again.

Mike, is there any possibility of me getting my hands on the latest version of the provider by 1/1 (date I roll out new intranet to company with 1000+ users)?  I would be more than happy to make a $100 monetary donation to your cause of choice (even the "Mike" fund) in exchange.
