I want to add a category in the Document Module,
so that I can select the category in the select menu next time,
instead of typing the category every time by myself.
Would anyone tell me how can I do this?
Or is it support to do so?
Just like the category in the Articles Module.

Freddy,

I am not sure if this is supported in the current version of the documents module, I'll download it to an install I have here at home tomorrow and look into it for you.  I know it is an option on the soon to be released version...but I can't remember on the old one.

Freddy,

Yes, you can create a set list for the documents categories.  First you will need to create the list.  To do this you will login as the host user, then go to the Hosts menu and select "Lists".  Create a new list called "Document Categories" without the quotes.

You can then add all items to the list.

Then in your documents module instance view the "settings" page and select the "use categories list" option (This is the first setting)

Mitch,

Thank you very much, it works.
But I found that it seems to have a standard name for the category.
How can I know that what is the correct category name?
And where can I delete the category that I added before?
Sorry for asking so many questions.

Thanks for your help again!!!
