Hi,

As DNN now supports SSL I would really like to setup SSL for my DotNetNuke sites login pages but I have not done this before. I am currently using DNN 4.7 and have 3 parent portals/sites with different domain names (e.g. www.domain1.com, www.domain2.com, and www.domain3.com) on a VPS account at MaximumASP.

I was wondering if anyone could provide some advice setting up SSL for this scenario? For example, do I need 3 SSL certificates? Also, I notice MaximumASP does not support multiple SSL certificates on VPS plans (see http://help.maximumasp.com/smarterticket/Customer/KBArticle.aspx?articleid=38&KBSearchID=65718) which may be a problem but I guess I can move to a dedicated server if necessary.

Any advice/recommendations with this multiple parent portal scenario is greatly appreciated.

Multiple certs with separate IP addresses for each.

Thanks for the help Jeff. I also found a post (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/118/threadid/182168/scope/posts/Default.aspx) which looks very promising regarding installing a single SSL Cert for multiple domains (see http://www.digicert.com/unified-communications-ssl-tls.htm).
