Is there a way to not display the add by user and date when viewing the events detail in normal site operation mode, i.e. user browsing the site? I gather there is not currently from my research. However, I thought I'd check here for input. If there is not currently, what would I have to do to edit the code, if that is possible?

Thanks,

Jody Wood

I don't know of any module setting that allows you to hide that information. You can edit the code to hide it, but be aware that this will affect ALL module instances in ALL portals, and will be overwritten when you install a new module version!

If you have Events 3.3.8, then go to line 77 in file /DesktopModules/Events/EventDetails.ascx:

<TR vAlign="top">
   <TD class="SubHead" vAlign="top" colSpan="3"><SPAN class="Normal">
      <asp:panel id="Panel1" runat="server" Width="331px">
      ...

and hide that table row with CSS:

<TR vAlign="top" style="display:none;">
   ...

But don't simply delete that table row - the asp:Labels in it are required for the page functionality!

Hope that helps!

That certainly does the trick. Thanks for the guidance.
