I noticed on the server that a folder hierarchy was created for my blog.  What is this used for? I was thinking the blog images would be stored there but they go to the FileManager folder instead.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

If you still have that folder hierarchy it might be a *left over* from an older version of the module.

That folder hierarchy is no longer created (in some case unnecessarily) in fashion since it now uses the filemanager of the RTB.

Hope this helps.

The folders were created so that all items associated with a given post could be managed by the user via the module interface. This function has been lost in what is the biggest leap backwards I have yet seen in 3 years of being in this scene. The file manager is not even remotely able to achieve the same tasks even if you do give Admin access to all your bloggers.

I'm absoutely shocked with this regressive development on many levels.

I was also thinking that these folders would be a good place to drop images if one were to load postings from another interface (LiveWriter, EMail, etc.)

Regards.

Hi Antonio,

I have these folders also.
It is "safe" to remove all these folders?

With regards, Ton Hermes
